Storyology Décor

Because we all have a story to tell.

What does your home say about you?

Jan Agnello, creator of Storyology Décor, always lived in newly constructed homes moving from one corporate relo to another. With each move she was faced with the daunting task of how to make her new house feel like home. In others word , "How do you infuse personality into a builder box house without spending a fortune?" To answer that question, in 2013, Jan started Storyology Décor.

Within three months, CNN.com http://www.cnn.com/2014/02/27/living/antique-shopping-guide/ caught on to changes in the antique and vintage world and zeroed in on her display at a local antique mall.  Now she helps her customers go way beyond the monotonous monogram, the rickety constructed, made in C____, furniture (her C word), and the " needless markup" of the fancy smancy stores.

Storyology Décor takes to heart interior designer and author Becky Dietrich's philosophy, "Great interior design has nothing to do with the amount of money you spend. It has to do with how well your home tells your story. Successful design inspires curiosity and makes your family and guests feel nurtured. It makes them want to say, 'Because I've been here, I feel I know you in a whole new way."

Jan's passion is to create a new chapter for home décor  by helping her customers blend the old, the new, and the one-of-a-kind. It's her secret recipe that tells your family's unique story with "restoried"/restored heirloom antiques, unique custom folded books, and artisan plates to remember life's greatest moments.
